What is Mortuus?
Mortuus is a round-based zombies FPS for 1–4 players (solo or online co-op) from developer Hamuno. Each run builds a new procedurally generated brutalist map, in day or night, clear weather or storm. You buy doors, find the power switch, take guns off the wall or from the Mystery Box, buy perks, upgrade guns at the Gun Ascension altar and draft one upgrade after every round. Steam lists over 30 guns, five elements, special enemies and boss fights, plus a hidden ritual that wakes the Mother. Full release: January 11, 2027 on Steam for Windows, macOS and Linux; a free demo is out now.
Read the lights, not the map
The map changes every run, but the lamps don’t. Players in the official Steam discussions point to two constants:
First run, round by round
What to buy in rounds 1–5, when to chase power, how to reach 25 alive.

The red lamp over the Door to Power is the tell. Here is how to read it.

The three-hearts route players report, and what is still unconfirmed.
